Do you agree with repealing the ban on communicating election results while polls are still open?

  • I agree. This was an antiquated law that was clearly in conflict with basic rights to free expression.
  • Unsure. While the law is pretty much enforceable, I worry that people's voting preferences in Western provinces will be prejudiced and potentially create voting irregularities.
  • I disagree. New mechanisms must be found to ensure that election outcomes are protected. Perhaps polls across the country now all need to close simultaneously?
