What do you think of Vancouver’s separated bike lanes?

  • I disagree with the need for separated bike lanes. They cost too much, and with our wet climate, are really only useful during the summer months. I think they are too expensive and/or disruptive.
  • The concept of separated bike lanes is fine, but I wonder if they cost too much money for the actual number of people that they benefit. The entire system might benefit from a review.
  • The bike lanes are good although I recall hearing there were some problems with planning and implementation, in addition to complaints from some downtown business owners and residents.
  • The bike lanes are a great initiative and are well planned and built. They provide a service to a majority of Vancouver residents, and they will become part of our culture and green city image.
