Shuttlecocks will fly when over 800 players plus family and friends aged 35-70 land at YVR this coming August!

The BWF World Senior Championships will take place at one of the world’s finest multi-use sport facilities when the Richmond Olympic Oval hosts the event from August 21 – 27.

This is the premiere event for senior players on the 2011 Badminton World Federation calendar and where World Champions will be crowned!

Off the court, these experienced athletes will look forward to exploring local sights, attractions, food and entertainment with their friends and families. Badminton is a popular sport in Canada, played by over 2 million individuals making it the most popular racquet sport in our country.
